Transition to new Printing System for Staff and Student

28 Nov 2019

We are migrating the printing system to Canon uniFLOW for staff and students. This will involve replacing 39 units and migrating 49 existing units of multifunction printers (MFPs). In order to minimise the disruption to the printing services, the migration will be done in 4 phases, which started on 25 Nov and will complete on 28 Dec. During this period staff have access to use both the new and existing printing systems concurrently. Students will still use the existing system until the cut off on 27 Dec (students will be notified separately). After that, all staff and students will only be using the new Canon uniFLOW  printing system.

Phase 1, 25 to 29 Nov 2019 – Migrating Existing MFPs in Staff Offices
Phase 2, 02 to 05 Dec 2019 – Replacing and migrating MFPs in staff offices and along staff offices’ corridors
Phase 3, 09 to 26 Dec 2019 – Delivery and staging of MFPs in student centric areas
Phase 4, 27 to 28 Dec 2019 – Migrating all MFPs in student centric areas and migrating student printing credits. Students start using new system


Campus Solutions (MyNottingham) Maintenance
